Chambourcin is the signature variety of Bago Vineyards. This wine portrays ripe plum and berry fruit aromas, with a touch of spice. Oak maturation is dominant and with time it integrates well into the wine giving it a smooth, rounded feel whilst maintaining fresh fruit flavours. Our Chambourcin may be consumed young, however, will cellar well for 10 years+. Well suited to lamb or pork dishes. (Pronounced Shom-bor-son).
